Cuban Vibes Dance School “3-hour Dos Mujeres & Son Cubano Workshops” for Intermediate Casino Dancers and Teachers on Sunday 18th February 2024 @ Cricklewood Railway club, London, NW2 6JP About the Workshop

Cuban Vibes Dance School are looking for 18 Casino style dancers and teachers who can preferably “lead and follow” to take part in our exciting 3-hour Dos Mujeres & Son Cubano workshop, the course is designed for Intermediate casino dancers and teachers looking to take their knowledge and social dancing to the next level.

Performing is not a requirement of joining this workshop – the main aim is to make you a better dancer, improve your techniques, increase your confidence, raise your awareness of different dance style & timing, and have more fun dancing with two followers on the social dance floor.

(Workshop 1) Dos Mujeres - Partner work 1 lead 2 followers – 1 hr 30 mins – 1.30pm to 3.00pm.

This workshop teaches the lead and follower how to dance on the social dance floor. Leads and followers will also be introduced to way of incorporating this on the social dance floor, we will also explore using this structure in Rueda format with some standard and special calls.

(Workshop 2) Son Cubano - Partner work 1 lead 1 follower – 1 hr 30 mins – 3.00pm to 4.30pm.

This workshop teaches the lead and follower how to dance Son Cubano playing attention to their cadence and musicality whilst dancing on the social dance floor. Leads and followers will also explore ways of incorporating this style of Cuban dance this on the social dance floor, we will also explore using this structure in Rueda format with some standard and special calls.

The workshop happens in the heart of Brent at Cuban Vibes Dance School, Cricklewood Railway Club, 327 Edgware Road, Cricklewood, London, NW2 6JP (2 mins from Cricklewood Bus Garage).

Workshop 1: Dos Mujeres Partner work | 1.30pm – 3.00pm | Early Bird £10

Workshop 2: Son Cubano Partner work | 3.00pm – 4.30pm | Early Bird £10
