As standard we do not collect any personal data other than provided to us, by you, in the form of contact forms & emails.

Our online booking system requires you to enter personal data to complete your booking.  This is retained so that we can contact you about your booking unless you ask us not to.

Information entered into registration forms that have either been completed manually, or via email correspondence, is maintained to ensure our compliance with data regulations, unless you ask us not to.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

​

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

​

Our online contact form asks just for your name and email address.  These are retained to allow us to respond to your enquiry, and to review the history of a conversation.  They are not used for marketing purposes unless you enter them in the Newsletter Sign-up form, or select that option on our registration form.

We do also accept verbal requests to be added to marketing and you acknowledge that you are able to unsubscribe from these at any time.

Cookies

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Emails and contact form entries are stored indefinitely.  This is so that we can recognise and follow up on previous correspondence.
